What Rubric puts on your site
| What it does | What it stores in the visitor's browser | |
|---|---|---|
| The UX audit | Rubric's own browser visits your pages. Nothing is added to your site. | Nothing |
| Analytics | One line of script: pages, sources, funnels, forms, clicks and Web Vitals. | No cookies; no IP addresses stored |
| A/B tests | Half your visitors see the new version. Each visitor keeps one version for the rest of the day. | No cookies |
Visitors who opt out
If a visitor's browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, Rubric doesn't measure them and doesn't put them in a test. They see your original page.
Where the data lives
Analytics data is collected and stored in the EU (Frankfurt). We don't sell it or use it to train anything.
Good to know
Do I need a cookie banner for Rubric?
Rubric Analytics and A/B tests set no cookies. Check with your legal team for your own site, since other tools on it may need one.
Does the A/B test flicker or follow people around?
Each visitor sees one version for the rest of the day. Nothing is stored to follow them after that.
What can I test?
Headlines, button text, intro copy, showing or hiding a section, colours and sizes, and where a link goes.
Which plans include it?
Analytics and A/B tests come with Basic and Pro: 1 test at a time on Basic, 5 on Pro.
